At least the dogs loved it....

While we were annoyed being caught up in the house for three days, the dogs loved the weather. Jasmine loves to eat ice, and Vegas liked the way the ice sounded underneath his paws. They even played a bit of chase out there. It was funny because they wouldn't go full steam because they couldn't stop. Haha.

Thawing out

Well, we got some serious ice here, what a mess. We're finally thawing out today, here's a few snaps Angela got with our point and shoot Canon. We don't have any trees in our yard, so it's hard to get an idea with these of just how messy it was. The one with Dave's cell phone shows a good reference point of how thick it was. Yuck.

We were fortunate to not lose power. We lost our internet for a while, but nothing compared to those folks who are still without power and aren't expected to get it back for a few weeks. We are really considering ourselves lucky.
