I love getting these kinds of emails! This awesome message from Carolyn was in my inbox this afternoon:
“They are just so awesome! We are just so pleased and all of our family and friends wanted us to tell you both how wonderful the photos are. You do beautiful work. We can’t wait for the CD to come. Thanks for everything.”
We had a blast working with Carolyn and Matt, and getting feedback like this makes it even better!
Carolyn and Matt…you ROCK!

I had a great time with Leah and Daniel a couple of weeks ago. We shot in the midst of the spring monsoon we had here in NWA, the rain let up for about 2 hours that afternoon and we took advantage of it. This awesome couple is our first scheduled wedding of 2010, they’re getting hitched on 01.02.10. Here’s a little bit of slideshow goodness for you to check out!
As a follow up to the previous post….here are some of my favorite images I shot of Megan and Marshal at the MPIX/Miller’s Lab Shootout last weekend. I think I got some really great stuff, and Megan and Marshal were unbelievable to work with. Thanks Megan and Marshal for hanging with us!!!!

Check out Jessica’s blog to see what she rocked with the senior guys and girls….she’s got mad skills. Also, stay tuned to the MPIX blog and follow them on Twitter or Facebook to see when the next meetup will be. It’s a great opportunity to learn a ton and network with other photographers and just have a great time.
This past Saturday, May 9th, I had the opportunity to take part in the first ever MPIX/Millers Lab Shootout in Pittsburg, Kansas. Jessica Edwards and I were the mentor photographers for the event, and had the pleasure of showing the group how we do what we do. I worked primarily with Marshal and Megan, showing how I photograph couples, and Jessica rocked out like she always does with the senior guys and girls.
Here are a few behind the scenes shots provided Jerime Carpenter:
Me shooting Megan and Marshal in a cool little grungy alley.

Gotta show em what we’re getting so they can feel the love!

This waterfall was cool!

Me (left) and Matt (right) getting down and dirty for some cool wide angle stuff.

And a couple provided by long time friend Pat Harris:
This staircase was wicked. Cort’s up top shooting down on the scene.

Matt’s holding down the scaffold while he and Jess chimp. Marshal and Megan are feelin’ the love again.

What a great day we had! I’m looking forward to the next one for sure. Follow MPIX on Twitter, Facebook, and their blog to see what’s up with the next one!!!

Carolyn and Matt tied the knot this year on probably the rainiest wedding day I’ve ever been a part of, but that certainly didn’t dampen their spirits. The entire event was a blast!! The ceremony was held at the Holy Souls Catholic Church, and the reception was at the Foster-Robinson House in Little Rock. We got tons of great images, here’s a few of our favorites in no particular order.

Angela and I are enjoying our weekend off together! We decided to take the pups out for a drive tonight and treat them to some Chic-Fil-A nuggets, so we loaded them up into the dogmobile, aka the Pathfinder, and went for a little trip. The song on the radio when we got in was “Hold On”, how appropriate. Vegas and Jasmine had a blast.

Callie and Ben came up for their engagement session last week, we had a blast and also had the chance to shoot with Ben’s Honda. They stuck around for a little while after the sun went down and we got some fun night time stuff too. These two are getting married in August at Garvan Gardens. Here’s a few of my favorites from the engagement session:

Long time no blog….but I’m kicking it back off with some really cool images from the first half of Katie’s senior session. We’re going to hit downtown on the next one I think, the first was rocking a field west of town. Lots of people think we just shoot weddings, but we can bust out some killer portraits too!

Angela and I had a blast celebrating Valentine’s Day this year. We took the weekend off, and just did our own thing, and enjoyed relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. Here’s a couple of shots of some of the Pandora charms I got for her bracelets. She loves these things!

I hope all of you had a great time with that special someone, and if you just so happened to get a rock put on your finger, give us a call to chat about your wedding day plans! We’d love to hear from you!
