Khaki & Travis are getting hitched!

This upcoming weekend is filled with weddings, and on Sunday, Khaki and Travis will tie the knot!  We’ve been looking forward to this one for quite a while, and can’t wait for the day’s festivities to start.  We shot their engagements a couple of months ago, and here’s a few of my favorites from the session.

Can’t wait till Sunday!  See you guys then!

Going over a big ol’ ocean!

We’ll be out of the office for the next week.   We’re headed over to Europe for an amazing shoot with Jessica and Matt and will be coming back to Wichita on the 14th for Liz and Mike’s wedding, and then back in the office on the 17th.  We will have minimal internet access and will return emails asap as we have the chance, any calls will be returned when we’re back in the office on the 17th.

Big thanks to Dave for hanging here at the house and office and taking care of the pups while we’re gone!!!

Have a great week everyone, and drop us an email if you need anything!

Kellie + Phillip | The Thank You

I love making fun images.  I love it when something we create speaks volumes of emotion and feeling.  I love it when our clients freak out when they see their images, loving them more and more each time they look at them.  Sure there’s things about the work that I could do without, but wow, this job has far more +’s than -’s, that’s for sure.

Then, to top it all off….I love getting stuff like this in the mail.  Thanks for making my day. :)

You Rock! All your clients should reward you with this stuff!!!

Kellie + Phillip | The Wedding

As I sit here and try to write this blog post, I’m kind of at a loss for exactly what to write.  We love working with all of our clients, and each event and/or session is unique in its own way.  Every now and then we’ll have a wedding couple that absolutely blows us away.  Kellie and Phillip were definitely one of those couples.

I don’t really know what else to say, except thank you to Kellie and Phillip for trusting us, loving the way we work, and involving us in the details of the day which allowed everything to go so smoothly.  The wedding at The Church at Pinnacle Hills and the reception at the DoubleTree in Bentonville were fantastic.  What a great day to be a wedding photographer!

Here’s a few of my favorites from the day.  It was a HUGE event, with so many images to choose from it was hard to narrow it down.  There’s no particular order in this post, I just picked somewhat randomly. :)

Enjoy:

I know, I know.  Crazy random order and lots of images, but seriously, I didn’t know how to pick!  Mr. and Mrs. Sprouse….you guys rock.

Peter Tellone | …See

For all of you regular readers of my blog, you’ll know that I have a few very special friends that live a long ways from me, yet over the last couple of years we’ve become very close.  One of them, Peter Tellone (I call him Moose), has recently opened a much larger collection of his work and made it available for purchase for fine art prints.  Bottom line, he sees the world like no one else, and you need to have a peek at what he’s doing over at GroundUp.

If you need some amazing imagery on your wall, he’s your guy.  If you simply want to be inspired and stand in awe of the world we live in, check out his work.  Stunning images, unique perspective, and vision like no other.  Check him out.  Incredible stuff.
